Hello! It's been a while. We're excited to announce our first release in nine years: a 12-inch vinyl reissue of our old friend Tony Molina's
Embarrassing Times. It's his first solo recording, originally released on cassette in 2009. To the left you'll see the new, updated artwork, featuring a photo of Beau by Sean Hewitt.
It's available to pre-order physically and digitally directly from us on Bandcamp as well as Midheaven Mailorder. Vinyl will also be available via Zum and physical record stores throughout the US. You'll also be able to purchase digital files through Midheaven and the iTunes Store, as well as stream via Apple Music and Spotify. (For wholesale, please contact Revolver USA.) You can also email me with any questions.
Embarrassing Times has long been a favorite at Catholic Guilt HQ. The original cassette was self-released on Tony's own label, 650 Tapes. It was hand-dubbed on his home stereo in Daly City and included with the first 50 copies of the Ovens triple-album CD on tUMULt. This is the first time Embarrassing Times has received proper mastering and we think you'll love how it looks and sounds.
For even more new wax from Tony we strongly recommend picking up Tankcrimes' beautiful new 2LP reissue of the Ovens triple album as well as the Lost Days album released by Speakeasy Studios SF earlier this year. And if you somehow haven't had a chance to enjoy the other great records Tony's released, start catching up here.
